Professional Background

I hold master’s degrees in counseling from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling (2018) and in teaching from Seattle University (1999).  Major course work included human growth and development with an emphasis on adolescence, learning theory, group facilitation, diagnosis and assessment, creative interventions, trauma, cultural competence and social justice.  I have extensive experience working with ADHD and other learning challenges including variable processing difficulties.  I also have clinical expertise with process addiction, particularly related to compulsions around screens and gaming.
